Usually most people post their goals right in the beginning of the year, however as I was doing major revamp on this website, this article for my goal can only come in now as everything is more or less settle down.
One of the reasons why I’m sharing with you my goals is to keep myself accountable for achieving these goals. You may want to do the same thing too to make sure you will achieve your goals eventually.
Goal: Creating workshops
One of my initial goals I’ve set out to complete for 2011 is to create workshops and speaking in them. I’ve started a small workshop with another web consultant just the beginning of March and there was pretty good response from it. Around 15-20 people attended the workshop and most of them like the content we were sharing. It was targeted at small and medium enterprises. I’ve recorded my section of the workshop and I’m planning to upload it very soon for my subscribers.
What’s my next goal after this first workshop?
I’m planning to hold more previews in the next coming months to prepare for a 1 day workshop during June where we are teaching the beginner course on internet marketing.
Goal: Creating Membership Programs For Niche Websites
As I have created a few niche products and they have been selling well in the past years, I’m expanding into creating membership program for niche websites. I’m also planning to create a membership site for Internet Marketing because this is a market where I’m good at.
Basically, I’m focusing on creating 2 memberships for my own side. And I aim to achieve a total of at least 100 members for each of them every month by the end of September. With a list of 60-70 thousands, I think this should be of no problem. It is just a matter of producing extremely quality content and an irresistible offer to attract them into the membership such that it is a no brainer in joining the membership.
By December, I’m aiming to achieve 200 paying members in the membership and as well as creating a higher quality membership for people who wants more valuable information. But to do this, the first membership is the critical point.
Goal: Publish a Book
In February or March, I was invited to join as a co-author in an entrepreneur book where I shared my entrepreneur journey and sharing with the readers some of the lessons I have learnt.
The next book I’m planning to publish is a book under the AWE project. I shall reveal more about this later on but this is definitely going to be a big project as we are the ones organizing the book. I will share more details when we are ready. This book will probably be published in 2012 instead of 2011.
Goal: 200,000 Subscribers by End of 2011
Currently I have more than 50,000 subscribers in my profollow list including my niche markets. And as I grow my list around 200-250 a day, I should have no problem hitting 130,000 subscribers by the end of 2011 without doing a single thing. But what’s the fun of setting of goal with no effort needed?
I’m making a goal of achieving 200,000 subscribers by the end of 2011 which would mean a total of 550 subscribers everyday. That would be pretty exciting and I’m looking towards driving this amount of subscribers.
Goal: Blogging – Achieving a 1,000 visitors a day for InternetIncomeCode.com by end of June, 2011
I’m quite successful in SEO my niche sites but for internet marketing, it is my first time banging hard to become a very successful blogger achieving 1,000 Unique visitors a day by the end of June. It’s quite a realistic goal and I’m working on a number of traffic strategies to reach this goal. But the most important thing is still my content in retaining my readers (like you who are reading now) and providing valuable strategies for them to come back over and over again.
Goal: Working With 5 Offline/Corporate Clients By End Of December 2011
This is one of the new goals I set out this year – to work with 5 big offline clients for 2011 to bring my internet marketing skill sets to the next level. I’m choosing my clients carefully in the sense we could form strategic alliances with one another. One of the downside about working with offline clients is that if you are not good in sales, you can be wasting a lot of time meeting people, doing up proposal and still not closing the sale.
The only reason why I’m doing this is because I want to stretch myself as well as I hope to test my internet marketing skills on different businesses.
So what are you goals for 2011? How have you been moving towards it so far?

Well, George. Thanks for this post since it put at better light my resolutions which came before April! LOL! Your goals are laudable but too big for me, I should say. But I do have this deep, burning want to have a workshop for would-be virtual assistants. Also, I’m so into blogging, just not as focused to keep things in order at the moment. But that, I’ve also paved way to be better. As for you, KEEP GOING and getting your goals realized! Here’s one that’s way behind you!

Thanks for your post, seeing your photo about you creating Workshops made me realise that that doing Workshops (and/or Teleseminars) might be something that I could make one of my possible future goals. Since I already have a tiny little eBook Published I might create a Workshop based on it.
Will there be a (Free) Replay of your Workshop available on your blog in the near future?
All the Best,
To your Happy – Home Business – Inspiration,
